quick release the seat post, seat pops up, attach hose to valve near bottom bracket and pump the spring-loaded seat post up and down until the desired pressure has been achieved.

The folding Dahon Espresso has this feature, although I haven't seen places where you can buy it separate from a bike

I've always thought that a 2WD MTB using hydraulics would be interesting for off-road.

Obviously hydraulic technology is not currently small enough or light enough, and is less efficient than a chain drive, but I still think it would be a pretty neat idea to test out.
