I think Monarchy would suffice, if you're uncomfortable with Kingdom (although there's probably some obscure bit of constitutional lore that makes us a Kingdom regardless of the arrangement of the monarch's genitalia).

Is now a good time for my "They're rebranding it a Hoots Mon-archy" joke? Thought not.
