I have a video like that when I aimed my new camera too low. Trouble is it would take me hours to work out where each hole is.

Lol. On a more serious note though, I wonder what would happen if you were injured by hitting a pothole but could prove (by its inclusion in your footage) that it had been there for months... surely the council have some obligation to be checking roads at regular intervals (if that Scams, Claims and Compensation programme the other night was anything to go by) and thus they have been negligent... even if the pothole was not actually recorded/reported to them.

That one includes lat and long, and he's got one with google maps on too. Don't think he's released the software though. ATG

Sent a four page list plus map, detailing every hole/surface defect that I passed to the local council in 2003.
Some of these are still waiting to be fixed. Some were disputed by the council as not being within the council boundary. Corrected them with an OS map, which they still have, showing the boundary.

What you need is a sign on the back which say
"ROAD SURVEYING. Warning this vehicle may stop at any time"

My N95 doesnt. However I have made an program that takes the data from the N95's GPS to create a subtitle overlay for the video from the Muvi camera. I dont use it though because the battery on the N95 is horrible to start with
