Will give that a try in a few of the jars, thanks.

Been out this afternoon to forage . 11 lbs of blackberries thus far! Pies, tarts, culis, brandy.......oh, and jelly!!

The recipe I have is for 'September jelly', and it includes a cinnamon stick and 4 cloves.

I love bramble jelly.

In France, we had Elderflower jelly, never had it before, lovely, especially a dollop melting on top of a slice of Tarte Tatin. It strikes me that bramble jelly might go down well the same way...

I'm in Berlin at a workshop which runs Saturday and Sunday so I'll be working all weekend...so I had my bank holiday last weekend and went to the innerleithen folk festival and did lots of mountainbiking in between the concerts.

Are you just working in Berlin or are you going to go out as well ? Went there at the end of June, amazing place.

We'll be being 'entertained' in the evenings, but I really want to go to the club 'Weekend' which is a proper german techno place and is located half way up an office block! I don't think I'll get there though. I love Berlin and have had a number of really fantastic stays there as an out and out tourist.

I'm off to Leicester for the weekend, see Mum on Saturday, work for Hilldodger on Sunday, back to York to be at work on Monday - we don't get Bank Holidays off, but it's often fairly quiet, because people think we don't work. We might get to knock off a bit early.
Saw your photo in the local paper - the charity ride to Arnesby in period costume. Looked like fun!

I'm currently sat in the pub garden enjoying a pint whilst the kids play on the climbing frames, having ridden a huge 2.5 miles here

On the ride home tomorrow i will stop and look smugly down on the bank holiday chaos on the M42 junction 4, always the sign of a bank holiday weekend, then nothing planned. Have a good one all.

My dad's taking me out for a birthday tea, and there's a bit of a do going on at my local park with Victorian style sports and fair rides and whatnot, so I'm going to see what that's all about as well.

Other than that, working on my thesis.

Yes, it was, once I'd got over the shock of riding in a miniskirt....

If you're at the Skyride/Pumping station, I may see you. I will of course, have no idea if it is you....
