We saw him on his Flying Mylliard on the isle of Man. He'd seen a couple of cylinders of a big radial aero engine at an auction and thought, "Those'd make a nice v-twin motorcycle" as you do. Each cylinder is 2.5 litres so perfect for 5 litre v-twin runabout. Not only did he ride this thing on a course he was riding it round the normal roads there too. He was on the same ferry as us so he'd presumably also ridden it up to Liverpool from Berkshire. The bike is absolutely stunning up close.

Paul Warburg's channel is good for a left-leaning view of US and global events.

AI video is starting to get scary now! A year ago I could spot it immediately, but I nearly got fooled the other day. I am familiar with videos by US presenter Rachel Maddow and thought that I was watching another one, but after a minute or two I noticed 'her' eyes do a slightly strange twitch. Then I saw it again, and again... My AI defences were alerted. Then 2 dead giveaways... (1) I can't remember the exact number, but no human reads $160 billion as "160 dollars billion", or (2) says something like "When Trump was first elected in two oh one six". Bloody AI!!!

I bet within a year the eye twitches will be gone and numbers will be spoken correctly. We are doomed...

I've been watching this. It's heartfelt, honest and so totally frank, a touching portrait of a truly lovely person.

You really start wanting the tissues about 37 minutes in.

At 40 minutes in, it features bits of my own website.

I know the post is way old but I've just watched the video . What a brilliant watch and very emotional . I wasn't a fan of his F1 stewarding but this reminded me why he still such an amazing guy who i really rated back in the day.

He's done some other podcasts, all of which are worth listening to / watching. Seriously, he's a top, top bloke - our paths don't often cross, but he always remembers me and he's always really lovely. His sisters (and attached other halves) are also really kind people.

As for his stewarding - look , we all know that the F1 sporting regs are not fit for purpose, and to an extent, his hands were / are tied there. I've not agreed with some of his decisions either. But you also have to understand that his outlook is deeply coloured by what happened to his little brother. I've some interesting articles / interviews tucked away in my archive if you're of a mind.

Anyways, I shall desist before I drag this off topic.

Back to the above podcast, it're the silences that speak the loudest.
