I would try to restrict myself to 2 biscuits. Sometimes this strategy works. Sometimes it fails, and then 3 or even 4 may be consumed.

They dont call me Salad Dodger for nothing!

My recent diet requires great discipline of portion control. I find if I remove the salad it halves the portion size nicely.

Now does an oatmeal based drink come under the same category as oatmeal biscuits

At one point I was buying two chocolate bars a day (usually a double decker and a twirl) from the vending machine at work and decided that biscuits might be healthier. Who would have thought a packet of chocolate hobnobs would contain many more calories that two chocolate bars.

In polite company I would take two, and if offered the packet again I would take a third.
At home, when I open a packet of biscuits I will give two each to the people in the room at that time then scoff the rest myself and tell them I've shared!!
My fil, at my wedding reception, approached the evening buffet and helped himself to the entire block of cheese from the cheese board!

There's an unwritten rule that any packet of biscuits must be consumed within 30 minutes of opening in our household. I think 30 minutes is a little excessive so I try to consume within 20 minutes, just to be safe.
