Loads of probably retired folk on the local radio earlier (Norfolk) saying how hot and sunny September and October will be - so don't panic yet. Trouble is, it's dusk/ dark by about 6pm then- not much use when that's the time you get home from work .
May is normally OK, just dull rather than lashing it down all the time, and that's only about 9 months away so all is not lost!

I think she would rather I left her behind. It was my choice to holiday in UK this year. We usually go to Europe and look at the weather they are getting.
Too hot for me.

I think the weather turned bad when the schools broke up. On that basis, I expect the weather will improve when they go back to school.

We're on holiday in Malta. Today went by (air-conditioned) public transport to Mdina. The temperature was 45 on chemists sign. Just read about people suffering from hypothermia in Wales. Where has the British summer gone? .

Purely out of curiosity, whereabouts? We're going there in 10 days time.
