Nothing now, earlier on the was a large turkey leg, a tray of roasties, stuffing balls and a tray of Yorkshire puddings. I'm now looking across at the table with its empty plates and at everybody else who are looking suitably stuffed.

Same as @dave r except that we had turkey crown. It got a bit fraught in the last 30 mins especially in a strange kitchen and with a 'I'm determined to get this wrong so you won't want me to help ever again' brother getting in the way.

Cooked off the Gammon yesterday - poached in apple juice with cinnamon sticks, cloves, star anise, and pepper corns for 90 minutes, then roasted with a marmalade glaze for an hour. Chicken in the oven today, along with pigs in blankets, root veg and King Edwards.

I have a Gantt chart worked out to ensure that everthing is ready for 1.00 sharp. When I showed my girlfriend she thought it was overkill, but she can't cook a can if baked beans.

But with the aid of a massive chart you can.... let me know how they turn out.

Turkey, ham, Maris pipers, sweet potato, Brussels sprouts, carrots, red onions, garlic, parsnips, pig in blankets, some vegetarian abomination, stuffing with extra chestnuts.

It went well

Also on the table was champagne I picked up in Champagne back in May

Currently - a chicken, some spuds, some 'snips, some pigs in blankets. Quorn thing for my and stuffing to go in soon. Spuds to mash are in a pan as are carrots and sprouts, and there's a mixed green veg thing (which I'll be the only one induging in I suspect) ready to snip and ping. Definitely not a Christmas dinner tho.

Note how I won ALL the sprouts, altho one guest decided that tradition dictated they should have one mandatory brassica for the sake of tradition. And that's definitely not a Christmas dinner. Batman has even elbowed Santa out of the way.
