CONVERGE at ULU a few years back - I've never seen a dancefloor look more like a huge swarm of intermingled people. Intense.
ESTRADASPHERE (or at least two members of) doing acoustic tracks with violin & guitar in a tiny little room in New York owned by John Zorn. Whole thing was very intimate and the music just jaw dropping.
GWAR. Stoned ;)

Probably the one I enjoyed most was The Go-Betweens, somewhere in London (can't remember where) just after they reformed.

Otherwise I Am Kloot were good in Leeds.

But I suppose I enjoyed these two most as they are a couple of my favourite bands.

The Primitives played Sheffield Uni about 1991 and that was great fun too (and I was no particular Primitives fan)

Not been to many, but Prince at Maine Road was fab (the bass was incredible), as well as Erasure x 2 great (pure entertainment), Duran Duran (re-launch stuff in the 90's with a female friend (friend that's it) - who is now my mates wife), and M-People (supported by sub-sub). Also loved a Simple Minds concert. Can't say I've been to a bad one, but at not many, can't comment.....

Guns N Roses 1992 in San Diego. Got there about 9.30ish and saw the end of the support band (I can't remember who). GnR came on just shy of midnight and played until almost 3 am!

I was exhausted by the end!

U2's ZooTV show in Glasgow 1993 was a spectacle and a half

The Offspring at Glasgow's Barrowland in 1999

Marilyn Manson in 1996

Tim and Neil Finn in Auckland 1996 - best acoustic set ever!

Recentest (?) memorable gig was Gary Numan at the Wickerman festival this summer. He really rocked!

Not the best concert but the most memorable was Boo Hewerdine's acoustic set at the Langspoon Festival in Glenrothes last year. Boo sang a song called Bell, Book and Candle and I will swear that everyone in the audience had eyes full of tears at the end of the song. The power of the performance was utterly astounding. Despite 11 or so bands on the bill the only topic of conversation at the bar was Boo's performance.

The best concert Runrig - Edinburgh Festival Hall 1998 (seen them about 10 or 11 times)

Led Zepp - Newcastle '72

Family - Liverpool Stadium - 70 - at the height of their powers

Several Saw Doctors gigs - always good reaction from the crowd
