What's the furthest you've travelled for a bike

I did a 90-mile round trip to buy two base layers. They were Btwin ones from Decathlon and were out of stock online but available at the Sheffield store. Any saving on the items (they were reduced in price) was probably outweighed by the fuel cost. Doh.

About 4000 miles, picking a bike up from Chicago. To be fair, I was going there on business anyway. Strangely I took it back a couple of years later as I moved there and the company was paying moving costs.

I built up a Raleigh Pursuit for my nephew and took it up to Knutsford (from Leicester) by train. The return journey was weird though, I kept getting the feeling I'd left something on the train every time I changed (Manchester and Sheffield) and then when I left Leicester station

I would guess for my self about 70 miles each way. Luckily, being a member of a national (international) cycling club, we can always agree to meet half way on at an event.

About 80 miles each way for a Raleigh Royal that was completely cream crackered. It had things broken that I didn't know could break. My Super Galaxy travelled about 250 miles but that was by courier so it doesn't count.
