Hottest dish I had some of (not mine) was a Phal which blew my throat apart. Hottest thing I have tried was my homegrown Scotch Bonnet and Habanero puree. It was such an intense pain and lasted ages.
Here in malaysia we have 'birds eye chillies' or 'chili api' (translated as fire chilli).
