20 large pots for planting this year’s tomato crop

Some socks and pants from uniqlo. The models they use are all skinny youngsters, but the merchandise is very good ( plus they do odd numbered waist sizes such as 33” )

A roll of roofing membrane to line the underside of my roof files; all sorts of dust/sand/diesel particulates blow in between the tiles currently.


Found this beauty behind some old insulation panels, so it's not just dust that gets in!

Actually, that's a wonderfully elegant and efficient piece of engineering. There's a good reason honeycomb structures are used in sandwich composites.

Elegant and beautiful, I agree.
But when I ventured into the loft on a day the nest was fully occupied, the noise - not just buzzing but also the munching of the roof timbers - just indescribable. The stuff of nightmares.

An inexpensive wireless charger for my phone. It seems to work really well, but I have only done one phone charge so far. Let's see how reliable it turns out to be over coming months... (If it IS reliable, it is a bargain - £12.99 for a pretty fast charger that can also charge earbuds and a smartwatch at the same time.)
