Sisters called Laurel and Myrtle Branch.

Next girl would have to have been Olive.

I have heard of, but not met, Teresa Green. Friend assures me she was in their class at school.

I KNOW a Teresa Green. She lives in Whalley, Lancashire.

Dutch names are great. I know a Fokko de Kok and a Fanny de Kok as well.
You're right, Dutch names are great, Dik Kok is a little unfortunate if he has anything to do with the English, but they do have some brilliant names.

On the Richard theme, there's a 'Dick Payne' at work. He gets tannoyed fairly regularly but the joke must have worn thin as no one seems to take much notice.

Someone mentioned 'Conan' - it's not an usual irish name, before Arnie made it his own. There was an irish guy with the name at Uni (he drank Baileys down the pub so I guess he was a barbarian).

My sister in law called her (not remotely like each other) 'twins' Joss and Bailey. When the mil told me, I said "Oh, is the second one black?". It just struck me as being a black American street name. It didn't go down too well. He is now the whitest red-head in the playground. Got told off for that the other day. Apparently he's a Strawberry Blonde. Carrot, was my interpretation. And the rest of his secondary school.

My first g/f's name was Piper. Her (now deceased) younger sister was called Peta. Bit of luck they didn't have any more or her next of kin could have been Pickled or Pepper. ;)

Heard from a colleague of a pair of twins who had just started primary 1. They were called Beverley A and Beverley B.

I hope that she was winding me up!

A few years ago I was listening to does the team think on radio 4, now I’m showing my age, a guy had written in with the question “Does the team think that parents give enough thought to the names they give their children?” it was from a Mr Norman Conquest.
