I'm just about to take my nephew on his first night cycling for fun, probably just 5 or 6 miles. Tomorrow ill be out for a run of about 5 miles and at some point hopefully I'll cycle out to a pub I have my eye on trying out
My wife and I are riding from Market Harborough to Northhampton on Saturday (weather forecast it brill) then I'm taking my cassette off on Sunday as my chain guard has come loose and its rattling. I have to pick up my HTC phone from the repairers and put it on Gumtree.
Brampton Valley Way? I did that a few weeks ago, nice route and fun on the return as it got properly countryside type dark  Have fun!

Friday evening, trying to persuade some people to email me a jpeg of their children, before sharing those images with some old men who.......... oh, that doesn't sound too good, does it? Right, as manager of the West Yorks District U15s Rugby team I will be forwarding a file of County trialists, including an I/D photo onto the YRFU. Then I shall shorten the hoses and swap the levers on a pair of new Deore XT brakes that are going on the Canyon. Tomorrow I will service a pair of Reba forks and put them on Ebay. I shall also ebay my old Cube frame. I will ride the Cotic tomorrow on local trails. On Sunday I will spend the morning relaxing before Huddersfield U15s take on Ripon in the first round of the Yorkshire Cup. Bliss.

I'm slightly envious of the FNRttC'ers but I'm halfway down a bottle of cava, have a pizza in the oven and a huge chunk of brie for later, the boyfriend is missing so I've the sofa and cat to myself. I'm thinking about a ride to Richmond Park over the weekend but need to dejunk the flat first and I'm seeing Kevin Bridges on Sunday night in Hammersmith. I'll see what the weather's doing and take it from there.

Tomorrow morning NT and I might go to the big carboot sale at the racecourse, and then we'll probably amble round town, have coffee and cake, generally chill out. We might even eat out tomorrow - we were thinking of it tonight, but we came home from the funeral we were attending and fell asleep, so now we can't be bothered.

Sunday, dunno. Depends on the weather. Maybe another car boot, maybe more ambling in town. Of we eat out tomorrow, I might cook something complicated on Sunday.

We've both had a rotten cold this week, and are suffering from disturbed/lack of sleep, so an easy time is called for.:tired:

Sunday I'm running a charity ride. Normally the events I produce are audaxes. I confess I've been struggling a little with this one. It will attract at least some cyclists who are notably less competent than my usual customers; the charity has failed to do several things they promised, plus they are loading me with stuff that is really just superfluous.
So I'll be up at stupid o'clock on Sunday fixing arrows along the route, before returning to help register folk, then sweating it out till everyone's safely back - or I might go and ride my bike till later.

...and if it's a success I might end up doing it again next year.

Highlight of the weekend should be picking up my girlfriend's new Mini convertible. She's not the most confident driver so I've got the job of driving it home from the showroom:smile: Sunny day forecast tomorrow so I may well go the long way home and have my first ever long-ish drive in a car with the roof down. Quite how I've got to middle age without having done this before I'm not sure!

I'm quite excited^_^

Here for rides.
Tomorrow?
Handing ownership and care of the Aged P back over to Big Sis.
Driving a Yaris up an unsurfaced track crossing two small fords to collect Big Sis' two dogs (and hopefully not coming across an illegal fox hunt like last year)
Twiddling my way on Rhubarb the Brompton to the not so local local railway station after lunch
Sit on four trains
Arrive home some time after midnight

Sunday
Go for a ride down the woods on the mtb unless I get a better offer
