Stupidly long title and, while it fits the sentiment of the song, he has it the wrong way round. The point is that objects in the rear view mirror may be closer than they appear.

Actually, you are right! I was thinking worst in the sense of 'most outrageous'.

I remember a friend telling me about that scene, before I even saw the film. He described the scene perfectly, and was about to tell me the name of the song when he started laughing hysterically. He was crying, snot dripping from his nose, and his body became contorted. It was if he had just been exposed to a deadly nerve gas.

I was completely gobsmacked, and intrigued to know what the name of the song was. My friend had about 6 attempts before he finally managed to say it!

each to their own, I have a very wide and varied taste in music so can appreciate many types of music from classical to heavy metal to country and western and then some. the song imo was one of MJ's better offerings compared to some of the carp he sung.
