135.99 at Tesco
didn;t check the normal Esso station as I can;t go that way at the moment - but I'm sure it would have been a penny or so more

I have seen that Iran has mined the straits of Hormuz

They tried, but for the most part it didn't end well for them.

The tankers were reportedly hit but autonomous surface munitions, essentially automatically guided boats with bombs aboard. The distinction doesnt help us at the pumps though.

A pal of mine ordered & paid for a tank of domestic fuel oil recently, costing abot £350 I think. However, before the order was delivered said firm cancelled the order and told her she'd have to re-order.
New price for the same amount wa nearling £1000.
Excuse was of course the Gulf 'situation, but she suspects someone in said firm had made a supply screw up.

My sister uses heating oil and shes her that its the distributors that are supplying the domedtic supply companies at the end of the chain cranking up the prices. For the most part its not the domestic suppliers pulling a fast one, they only buy what they need a few days ahead of supplying it.

Filled up the van on Monday, but at 58 with several health issues I still refuse to drive a single-digit mileage journey, so that'll be three or four months before it drops to near half a tank and I refill again.

Unless you go camping. Thats where my fuel goes. Two 300 mile trips coming up soon.

My April Tenby trip will be a 700 mile round trip possibly 800 if I decide to tag on an extra trip at the end for a model railway exhibition (hey it's important!).

I need to try and remember the route I took Llangollen > Tenby last year as we passed 2 or 3 rural petrol stations that were a lot cheaper than the main road ones.

If you drift across into England, there’s a cheap place in Leintwardine. Probably too far off your route
