£1.51.7 at the red house garage cheapest by about 4p locally and they were doing a roaring trade

Yep, such a roaring trade yesterday that a berk in a merc stopped with ¾ of his car sticking out into the road blocking the Orlingbury road & the main A43!
Many horns were tootled at his idiocy!!

Diesel is 179.7 👍

I've seen 173 for diesel locally, not coming down much - this will take a while. TBH I don't really care as I don't do enough driving for it to be a factor.

It's come down a lot near us. averaging £1.82 for Diesel about 10 days ago, now most down to £1.68.9

Much the same as me. I insulate myself from these price rises by using only miserly amounts of the stuff.

Put some diesel in my van (which doesn't get much use) the other week, flipping £1.92 per litre! It really is an eye opener these days, as driving an EV you become oblivious to pump prices.

It was when the prices went crazy a few weeks back. I normally just top up with what I've used and then add another gallon or so, but not at those prices!
