What's wrong with Metcheck?

Isn't Metcheck run by a person who has legal "issues"?
If the site doesn't work, it's probably because it isn't being maintained properly - maybe the bloke's back in jail, or too busy in court.

That doesn't stop the site from being maintained by others which I think has been the case since the site owner's incarceration.

That might explain why Metcheck has been so patchy the last couple of years.
