I spoke to Rolf Harris on a Zebra crossing once 'Hello Mr Harris' I said, to which he replied 'How's it goin' mate?' Legend.

I've sold bicycles to Jimmy Somerville, one or more of the McCann acting dynasty.

And I was once confused on the phone for Mick Jagger by Carla Bruni his then squeeze.

I am the model on pages 63, 105, 107, 136 of Richards' Ultimate Bicycle book. I was slimmer then. And I 'built' the bike on page 158.

I also received a donation of clothes from Mark Lamarr when I worked at Arlington House, the huge hostel in Camden about 15 years ago. I also answered the phone to Ardal O'Hanlon when working there too.

I've cycled with Dayvo

I used to work in Fish (ex Marillion)'s dad's service station.

Fish first-footed our house in the mid-80s (the same time that I spent an evening chatting to a certain Kay Leigh, the subject of the song 'Kayleigh').

I shook hands with a former Bond girl (Fish's now ex-wife Tammi)

I stood next to Bernard "Gissajob" Hill at the Festival Fireworks, and next to Mel Smith in my local in Leith.

I got a smile and a nod from Billy Connolly as we both took a shortcut through a bus-shelter on North Bridge to escape the festival crowds.
