I did away with all that nonsense year ago. If you have trousers with an elasticated top you don't need a fastener at all and when you flip them down and then up to pee there is no danger of accidental damage. Same with tops pull 'em over your head and job done, I've never had socks with any kind of fastener so that just leaves the shoes - wellies in the winter and flip flops in the summer.

I've got far too much velcro on my cycling clothing. All my stuff ends up stuck together. :cursing:

I like the zip, not least because it is the arabic word for 'penis'.
I REALLY REALLY HATE HATE HATE trousers with a button fly. No no no no no. Zips were invented because they were better than a button fly.
until you get your "zip" caught in the er... Zip... Then you wish you had a button fly

I haven't got a favourite clothing fastner, but my least favourite is hook and eye.
Lots of fancy dresses have them, they're very fiddly and a bugger to undo.

Hook and eye ? As a man I have practised to undo these in the dark with one hand ;)

Yes, and us ladies are always impressed when a man demonstrates such skill, but undoing a tiny one at the top of a side zip under your armpit on a tight fitting dress is a whole different dificulty level. I've been known to give it up as a bad job and sleep in the blummin dress before now.

some would say that's one of the few times a man comes in handy.

:becool::whistle:I like velcro-it gives you a real buzz. My dad were a big baler twine fan though-maybe that look'll come back..
Accessorizing with subtle hints of orange polypropylene is "to die for"...
