Technically England doesn't have an anthem. The dirge is the British anthem. Hence why Jerusalem (another dirge) is used at the commonwealth games.

I liked the Italian one at first, but then I heard the Brazillian one, which surely would make an even better overture in an Opera, maybe even one of the main performances!
Yet again, I used to like it, but these days, it just seems too slow and boring for me, sorry, oh and don't get me started on Flower Of Scotland, I bloody hate it, and it isn't made any better by the fact that everyone else seems to love it!

Just a thought, if 'You'll Never Walk Alone' was the new national anthem, I wonder how it would go down at the Paralympics
