As a spin off from Greedo's Gangster flick thread, what about westerns?

Loved them as a child would watch anything and everything.

For me anything that Clint Eastwood or Sergio Leone touched is Gold!

Unforgiven being top of the list!

When I was younger I also loved Dean Martin in Something Big, Chisum, Camancheros and..... erm embarrassingly the Little Big Man.

Really? have you see 'Unforgiven' ??? My wife HATES westerns and everything about them, she refuses to attend every year when we are in Spain and I take the kids the the film studios in Almeria where loads of them were filmed.

But she enjoyed the Unforgiven!

My Dad loved westerns and I have to say it has rubbed off. Cannot resist them.

"True Grit" gets my vote.

I lurve westerns ever since I sat in front of the 12" B&W screen with my six guns watching the Lone Ranger.

Laramie, Bronco, Wells Fargo, Wagon Train, Rawhide....
