I bought a copy of Soldier Blue when Jane and I were first living together. Having only seen the title, and using her feminine intuition, she launched into a 'serious' conversation with me. Apparently I was totally out of order for laughing as I explained it wasn't a porn movie:biggrin:

If Unforgiven has got Gene Hackman* in it, I will try to watch that. Heaven's Gate sounds good.

The only Western film I can suggest is "The Bridges of Madison County" :biggrin: it has got Clint Eastwood in it. :sad:

As a kid, there were westerns on the TV every weekend and my Dad was *glued* to them. As a result I was 'westerned-out' so it tends to be a genre I avoid these days, unless it's Blazing Saddles... or John Carpenter's 'Vampires' :sad:

And mustn't forget Tremors!
