At the care home lunchtime spread today they had grated cheese and egg sandwich, which is a first for me .

I didn't try one as I only like egg in cakes , Yorkshire pudding and quiche

Very few foods are not improved by the addition of grated cheese. At least savoury ones.

Yes, they're revolting.

But cheese grated over Chilli con carne is so good it almost proves the existence of magic.

White bread, ham tomato and English mustard is probably my go to because its quick easy tasty and we will inevitably have the ingredients.
White bread, corned beef and pickle is another favourite.

I say White bread because I like rye bread but most of it gets wasted for just a very occasional sandwich..we love toast so White it is.
