The rules:
1:Competing cars must cost less than £100.
2:Maximum budget for the vehicle Challenge preparation: £15
3:Once the Challenge is underway, there will be no form of formal assistance from the organisers in any way - Teams are
on their own.
4:All of vehicles that make the full distance to Tashkent, Bamako and Banjul MUST be handed over to the Challenge Control Group in the appropriate jurisdiction, to be auctioned under controlled conditions in aid of local Charities. Failure to comply may result in legal action by local Customs agencies against guilty participants.
5:All vehicles must be LEFT-HAND DRIVE for the Banjul Challenge!!
LHD is the preference for the Timbuktu and Silk Road Challenges, but not essential.
Anyway, must go. Brekkie calls then a bit of island hopping

Interestingly I have discovered that I don't have a fear of heights, I have a fear of falling. It means that I can't stand on a slightly wobbly stool but will happily climb a scaffold tower that is well fixed and stable.cookiemonster said:I want to overcome my fear of heights so I can go up the Eiffel Tower.![]()

I am into all sorts of extreme sports, and doing the skeleton just ticks so many boxes.
Speicher said:I would like to do that, but it I might be more of a large Bob, than a skeleton Bob.What sort of power to weight ratio are you looking for in your team, ComedyPilot?
Speicher said:Oh dear, perhaps I have got muddled up then. What is the winter sport with four people in a sort of mini-submarine type Bob?
