Hi all,

Can someone confirm/explain what shops/manufactuers mean when they advise fitting width on wheels:

I want a pair of these now:
http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=21550

It says fitting width 100-130mm. Do they mean the distance between the dropouts on each side of the frame?
I think this is the case but I'm not sure.
I think my bike is 130mm between the dropouts. The tape measure (rough guestiamte without removing wheel) showed it to be about that....certainly not 100mm.

Cheers in advance.

100mm is for the front wheel which is the industry standard. All nine and ten speed bikes are 130mm across the rear dropouts.
