I'm thick and, as such,I haven't got a clue whether I can fit my 700x35 studded winter tyres on my shimano WH-R500 rims safely or do I need new wheels? I currently run 700x25 tyres. How do I know?

Yes, the question is do they fit in the frame and caliper clearance

There'll be plenty clearance cos it's a specialized tricross with cantilever brakes. So I should definitely be ok running them on those rims then?
