Hi everyone, new to the forum been cycling years but just starting to take it serious on my new road bike.
I'm currently running on 23c tyres and they seem abit flimsy so my questions are:

Can I just fit wider tyers to these wheels or will I need new wheels?

If I get new wheels to allow for thicker tyres will they fit the forks OK?

Sorry if these are stupid questions..

Easy questions: What wheels do you currently have? What is your bike?
Harder question: What do you mean by flimsy?

As long as I breathe, I attack.
You should be able to run 25s but if you want mudgaurds you will struggle with clearances with anything bigger i think .
I use 23 mm vittoria rubino pros on my vanquish and with the crud mudgaurds theres not much room under the front brake bridge, so far this year i have done 1600 miles and no punctures (shhhhhhhhhhhh !) .I personally rate them over gator skins for grip .
I did buy some ultremo`s a few years back and sold them without riding them as they were "flimsy" but they race tyres designed for speed and not protection .

What tyres are on your virtuoso ? as the ones that come as standard are normally pretty poor .
