Wheel upgrade for Giant Contend SL1 disc

So I think it’s between the scribes, primes or vels. All seem to be well regarded and similar weight and price.

I put mavic KSYRIUM SL on mine, I have same bike but rim brake model, made a big difference. They were about 350 from probikekit

I think I've ruled out the primes so between the vels and the scribes. Scribes slightly lighter but a bit more expensive.

A few years back I had an alu defy (contend equivalent) - I swapped out the wheels for budget campag khasmin it made quite a difference.

I've got the carbon framed Defy 3, the original wheels would cause terrifying speed wobble when descending over 30 mph, a pair of cheap shimano R501's were far superior, despite being at the bargain basement end for aftermarket wheels

Pulled the trigger on the vels and a pair of gp5000‘s. Hopefully between the pair it will be a noticeable upgrade.
