Quick question for those in London. I'm looking to get my current wheelset replaced soon, they've had quite a battering over the last couple of years with daily commuting and a LEJOG. Not having *that* much experience with buying wheels I was wondering if anyone in London could recommend a good LBS in Zone 1/2. I use 28" tyres generally and am looking for something strong and light.

Cheers!

Hi, Evans cycles in Tooley st, just outside London bridge station would have a large stock of that kind of thing. The staff are knowledgable and will be able to point you int he right direction. Depends how conveniant it is for you really thats all.

Are you looking for handbuilt wheels or factory built wheels. If the latter you could get some online after doing some research/asking on here. If you want some handbuilt wheels then there are lots of shops that can do that for you such as on your bike at London Bridge (just down the hill from the Evans that djtheglove just recommended). Alternatively there are specialist wheelbuilers like Harry Rowland (I believe he makes handbuilt wheels for Cyclingplus when they test frames out).
