I am after a new set of wheels for my stainless steel equilibrium...do I really need to have them fitted a my LBS? Can they just not be changed over by me? I have had the following suggested to me
http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/fulcrum-racing-quattro-lg-road-wheels/rp-prod139546 Are there better alternatives? I am not after carbon as the bike is steel and weight is not a priority.
No you can do it yourself, just a matter of switching cassette, tubes, tyres. Maybe adding rim tape if not already fitted
Get some nice handbuilts, H son silver rims look pukka on a silver frame

And there are almost certainly good YouTube videos you can look at. (This may be bleedin’ obvious, but I have to remind myself of that often, for changing disk brake pads, starting crochet, etc. etc.)
