Do ebikes have special wheels?
I know the tyres are ebike ones.

I have what looks like a hairline crack on front wheel.

If it fits would a wheel from my MTB work for a couple of days till I can get to bike shop?

That's just where the ends are joined with pins - most wheels are like that. Probably if you look hard, you'll find similar joins on your MTB wheels.

As far as I know the wheels are normal wheels - unless the motor is in the hub of course.
Actually the tyres are just normal tyres as well
I wouldn't use very lightweight wheels but any normal commuter bike or mountain bike wheels should be OK

I know the bikes are heavier - but at the end of the day the main weight they have to cope with is ME - by a long way!!!

Just the weld point on the wheel rim. There are just bigger touring tyres for ebikes, anything with a decent sizee, 35mm or more is plenty. Ebike weighs maybe 8kg more than standard road bike. so not vast difference.

Thanks folks, when I went back and looked at rear wheel closely I eventually found the same line under some dirt

Had a panic moment as I had been riding down the hill on way to work the other morning doing 42mph
