As far as I know the wheels are normal wheels - unless the motor is in the hub of course.
Actually the tyres are just normal tyres as well
I wouldn't use very lightweight wheels but any normal commuter bike or mountain bike wheels should be OK
I know the bikes are heavier - but at the end of the day the main weight they have to cope with is ME - by a long way!!!
Just the weld point on the wheel rim. There are just bigger touring tyres for ebikes, anything with a decent sizee, 35mm or more is plenty. Ebike weighs maybe 8kg more than standard road bike. so not vast difference.
As others have said, that's the joint. The joint is always exactly opposite the valve hole., which gives you another way to confirm that it is a joint.
