If you can cite a non-ESP (1~1 pull ratio) example that ticks all the other boxes...

Dunno, one of my bikes came with a 7 speeed SRAM that's very basic and has been used on several project builds over the years to check out the bike before being replaced with a 'posher' Deore if the bike works out OK (a couple ain't been good) Still hanging up in my shed along with various other components although I used a bunch up building my Raleigh 'City' 3speed

It was only 7400 Series 8 speed dura Ace that had it's own pull ratio, only compatible with it's shifters. 9 speed etc were OK.

Partly right but there was a 9 speed that used the same spacing, I've got the 7400 bar end shifters and they quote 8/9 speed but only Dura-Ace 9 speed cassette (won't index with lesser 9 speed cassettes- narrower spacing- but will index with standard 8 speed cassettes)
