Just changing a puncture this afternoon and as is the first rule of all cycling enthusiasts when repairing a puncture..check the tyre! I found the piece of glass that had caused the puncture but on closer inspection and going around the tyre I found another piece of glass stuck in the tyre....and then another ...and then another. I removed them all with the use of a safety pin but you get the picture the tyre was embedded with small pieces of very small glass which presumably will in time work through to the tube and hey presto...another puncture. So the question is do I need to buy a new tyre as I presume the tyre is picking up excessive glass although it does not look worn..or do I just do as I have done a really good inspection remove all the bits I can see and use again...for your info the tyre is a conti gatorskin
