When is the last weekend of the month?

Ok I have a dilemma that's kept me awake most of the night......

I advertise my workshop as open on the last Saturday and Sunday of the month....
but in October, the last Saturday is on the 31st (which means the Sunday is on the 1st of November)

Soooo. would the last weekend of the month be
Sat 24th and Sun 25th October
or
Sat 31st Oct and Sun 1st Nov

I thought I'd created something really straightforward, but now I think its as complicated as when people say "next Thursday" and I'm left wondering you mean the Thursday that's coming up (that's the next one) or the one after that....

Why not just give the dates?

yeah - its just been easy up until now to say to people that I'm open the last weekend.... its not perfick, but its just easy to tell people ..... then last night just as I was going to sleep, I did a "aaagh what happens when the Sat is on the 31st?" ....I guess to be fair, if that's all that keeps me awake at night.....

Tell them you're normally open on the last weekend of the month, but for October you're also commemorating the 600th anniversary of the Battle of Agincourt. Any one who doesn't turn up will think themselves accursed.

So your open Sun 25th & Sat 31st, if you had said I am open the last weekend of the month I would think your open Sat 24th & Sun 25th.
