Today on my ride, I finally found out that the mystery bang that would vibrate through my bike that I have had on rare occasions was coming from my back wheel.
On getting home I expected another struggle with lots of skin being removed from the hand and fingers, as is the usual case to try and free anything on my bike or car, to remove my cassette and check my bearings, but it was not to be.
Removed the wheel, propped it up against the wall, got the tools all in place, flexed my muscles to apply lots of leverage to remove the cassette, and what happens? a small jerk and it comes free, result, I lunge forward and head butt the brick wall. Just a good job no one was watching but at least it was different to my usual stunts.
