Hmmm, been organising a meet up old yenners.... not interested in footie 'cos none of the UK lot are any good...... shoot day for me today (cost and car mishaps...), so even hissing rain won't stop me tomorrow..
Middle of Summer, where, when............
We've had the odd warm day, been rather dry recently, but no SCORCHERS YET !!!
I rode a 200km today - I ain't been so tired for a long while. The last 40km were a real struggle, I had nothing left in my legs...does not auger well for next week's 300
That'll teach me for sitting around doing bugger all for the past few weeks.
However, I did meet another cyclist today who has 83 bikes! 44 fully operational and 39 frames with parts waiting to be fitted - I made a point of telling Mrs Noodley...
I am quite shocked how bad I was feeling today, 'cos I have done a few hilly rides this year, including some hilly 200s and 300s - this was a flattish 200 so I should not be as tired as I am. I had to abandon a 300 last week due to a mechanical after 10km so I reckon my lack of riding last week has affected me - my "fish encounter" also seems to have led to a bit more pain than I anticipated
200s should not be that difficult if you take it steady.
