I still see him in Solihull. Two other chaps called Guy and Richard; and I went round to Don's house on Saturday mornings to review the news and think of some gags for the next week's edition.

Percy Thrower was a gentle introduction to gardening, and also Fern Britton's Dad? Uncle? who used to have a gardening slot on the 'original' BBC Breakfast Time programme, which featured the Green Goddess Diana Moran. And also that blonde posh erm...um...ah! Selina Scott - who drooled over a tightly taut fitness bulgeworthy called Tony Brits - I think. He was the antidote Mr Motivator on the other side...Derek somebody I think he was called (don't bother 3BM )

Actualy Tony Hart didn't do Morph although Morph was on his programme which was Take Hart. Morph was actualy created by Nick Park and a fledgling Ardman Animations who made the big time with Wallace and Gromit.
