Where are you going to retire to?

I have been wondering about this lately as I would like to retire in the next couple of years. I have thought maybe Wexford, Snowdonia, Brittany, Normandy or Granada. I have researched said places and have near enough decided on Granada. So where do you think you will retire to? Also do you think I have chosen a nice place, it looks it to me, I'm going to pop over in May to have a look.

Quite happy to retire where I am, and ride in the Peaks more. A little 10 mile shuffle might be good for the bike, but the practical stuff, not.

I love Granada, if I could, I'd retire to prop up the bar in the Bodegas Castaneda, what a place
I'll retire to my house near Montpellier, but that seems an awful long time away at the moment!

Given i had to start from scratch with the recession at 40 and the youngest will be probably still in education and never be able to afford a house i am guessing work till i keel over.
