Been adjusting the saddle height on my Bianchi and I unscrewed the bolt too much that it came out but this came out too and I don't know where it goes back in?

Seat post Bolt? Saddle bolt? Errr?

The barrel will pop up inside the seat post clamp " underneath ",then you need to align it so the bolt can catch the thread.

Use some grease to hold it ,or just fiddle until it goes in.

Its not the seat one,as its too small and your seat would fall off!!

It’s a curved washer, as has been said, put in on the opposite side of the clamp to the bolt and it will tension the seat post clamp.
There is no hole on the opposite side - there is a hole in the middle (pics attached). Does it go in there?

Thanks. Does it go in 12 and 6 o'clock (standing up) or 3 and 9 o'clock (on its side)?

It should slot in the space it came out from.
Screw the nut into the bolt first, less chances to drop it, then slot it in.
Then slowly unscrew it, the take the bolt out, insert bolt through the collar, screw it tight again.

Er.... if you can't see where that came from, should you really be working on that valuable and rather hi-tech bike? You've unscrewed the collar bolt too far and the barrel has dropped out, which is recoverable but what other adjustments are you planning where you could do damage?
