Aproach to a RAB. All entries/exits are single lane. Traffic at the entry infront is at a stop, with a que of 3 or 4 cars. You're in traffic slowing down to a halt. Moving from a strong secondary, into primary - after looking behind.

Numpty at the back starts to come alongside!!

Had to accelerate to keep my position and then put the anchors on. Seemed the only other choice was to let him come alongside and then more than likely squeeze me to the kerb as we got to the RAB

What I do is take primary well before the roundabout so drivers know they aren't getting past. I've got panniers on as well so I look wider. Giving death stares helps if you don't trust the driver too.

Get into primary early and hold it. I try and hold position 3/4th across lane and eye ball drivers that come up behind.

If a helmet cammer filmed somebody doing this, I would forever be laughing with tears rolling down my cheeks. The image of it and a confused car driver is priceless in my head
