It's an ordinary sized piece of my life's jigsaw.

My passion is walking and scrambling (unroped climbing) in my local mountains.

Cycling I do to keep me fit-ish in my 6th decade.

Love it but very definitely not obsessed.

For example is it like one of the below or something different.

a) Just a bit of a hobby
b) Do it to just keep fit
c) Commute to work to save money and keep fit
d) Just something you have done for years
e) serious hobby and spend a bit of money on it
f) cycle everywhere and biggest part of my life apart from your job or familyy
g) Biggest thing in my life and spend every available penny on it

Probably a bit of everything on that list

I don't acutally ride or even own a bike, I just come on here to be an antagonistic jerk......

It also keeps me sane. I dislike my job and my wife has some health problems which makes her difficult to live with. Therefore cycling is a release for me. I can go out on my bike and just clear my mind of all my everyday worries. So it is a very good de-stressed for me.

It's just something to do when I have the time (and inclination) to do it. Much the same as anything other pastimes I have

I think you have multiple accounts on here, including several who spend so much time posting that they can't possibly have time to cycle the length of themselves; never mind holding down an allegedly well paid job.

E to F for me...until this last winter. Don't like the cold and although I used to commute in all weathers, all the time, a new job has forced me to use the car. A long cold winter, poor health including pneumonia, pleurisy, hives and general lethargy has ruined this year. Just pleasure cycling at the mo...my carbon roadie has hardly had a look in all year so far.
TBH, I've virtually stopped worrying about it, my fitness has gone, I'm just cycling when I can, when I want.

It's a bit sh1t really, but then it's not life and death either.
