Where is the strangest/dangerous place you have changed a tyre?

I don't think I've had any dodgy places to change a tube. I recentlyhad a front tyre blow out on the Kincardine Bridge but there was no way I was stopping there, and instead waited till I was off it and used the path at the other end.

I dont change my tyres, Jim fixed it for me...
Show us on the doll where he fixed it.

I had a tyre go on a similar fast country rat run, no pavement and hedges overhanging to the carriageway. It was a rather nervous 3/4 of a mile pushing the bike to the nearest farm driveway. There's people walk along it every day though - braver souls than me.

Mysterious puncture that appeared between Gatwick and Shannon airports, so tube changed in the arrivals hall at Shannon Airport

... and on departure, were were required with 15 minutes notice to box up two bikes, so we did a strip down of the two bikes, wheels, mudguards, handlebars, pedals and packed the lot whilst waiting in the queue for the departure desk.

In the door vestibule of a Silverlink/London Midland train between Northampton and Wolverton. Front wheel only though. If I got the Brommy out of car and found rear flat it it was a Shanks's Pony or London bus day.
