Where to buy 25.4mm handlebars?

Hi there,

I apologise if this has been posted elsewhere, but I'm looking for a reputable place online to buy handlebars to fit a 25.4mm track quill stem. I'm searched and searched but am finding it difficult given that everywhere seems to sell only oversized bars.

My singlespeed (a steel Specialized Langster) came with drop bars and a brake lever setup that I absolute loathe. I'm needing to do a bit of work on it after a crash and figured that I'd replace the bars while I'm at it. I spend most of the time I'm on my road bike on the hoods so a bull-bar type setup would probably work quite well for me.

Does anyone know of a good place to buy these?

Is it not possible to invert the existing bars and chop the ends off to make bullhorns?

And bear in mind you can use thinner and shim them.

I did consider that, but the bars bore the brunt of the damage in the crash and I'd rather not risk it.

Have you tried Rig Bikes in Glasgow?

Hadn't heard of them before your post, they certainly look like they'd have the appropriate kit, but they also certainly look like they'd scorn and deride me for having a store-bought singlespeed, considering they are big into the alleycat scene.
