where to put a garmin edge

I have a ice sprint and was hoping to purchase a garmin edge 500, but where do I put it?

Get a Barfly or similar (out front mount) and position it anywhere you want, within reach of a bar.

Edit just google the trike and there's not much bar but you may be able to attach the bar fly to the flatter section that leads to the hand grip and attach the edge to that.

I have just the solution on my Sprint!

I bought a stem, cut it down a bit and mounted it on the end of the boom.

I also contemplated mounting my Garmin on the trike but in the end I fashioned a ring to set in the bottom holes and then I attached a necksling to it so now I can pick it up whenever I want to look at it instead of trying to focus on it way out by the steering levers someplace

You can get a nice bracket and cylinder from Optima, which mounts on top of the wheel post ? (where the mudguard attaches) the Garmin can then be mounted on that with the usual mount.

I found that worked quite well as it wasn't too far to see it. You need to buy the bracket and the cylinder

There is a mount made for the Optima range that fits the "headset" cap

Works well on the Gekko and Catrike

I've got a Topeak Bar Extender which I attach to my Sprint at the front of the trike. On the small horizontal bit of bar pretty much where the pedals attach to the frame if I remember correctly. So its a bit out in front but I'm quite short so don't have the boom too far out.
