Which band played during your freshers week?

For me, Edinburgh '78, it was the Ramones and they were.......................................cr*p!

Got boo'd virtually the whole time. As it was the punk era there was lots of spitting and I was so glad I was under the balcony

I'm not ashamed to admitting to the enjoyment of Glitter Band gigs back in the late seventies and I can't retrospectively downgrade the enjoyment despite his heinous crimes.

I have absolutely no idea because I decided not to have a social life at university and spent the whole 3 years (including Freshers' Week) holed up alone in my flat, except for when I was attending lectures or labs, or doing my shopping!
