BBQ at mine tonight (you're all welcome if you know the address just turn up)

But more importantly which beer to get?

The BBQ is to mark our imminent departure to Aussie for 5 weeks

Do I stick with old faithful English Ale or switch to the Aussie brew VB?

I'm with Uncle Mort on this. If you've got to suffer 5 wks of Aussie lager, drink something good before you go.

Just think, in January in England, it's cold, it's wet and it's miserable but if you were in Australia, you'd be surrounded by twats.

Coniston Bluebird, Copper Dragon Bitter, Moorhouses Bitter, Harviestoun Schiehallion if you want a real lager..... but don't drink cooking lager!

Looks like there's no fans of Oz wee here!

I'm with the others, get as much down you as possible in case there's a shortage of proper beer over there.

5 weeks eh - alright for some!!!

get a crate of fosters, nice and cheap

Surely this warrents a temporary ban from the cafe??

Cut out girly lager's / ciders and get some decent drinks in. (ok there are a few nice lagers..)

If you want cheap and cheerful get some boddingtons in ...or some John Smiths. Guiness if you want a bit more swish and have the extra pennis to spend.

Just the one here:wacko: (and I typically swing it, rather than spending it)
