If I had money and space (and time to ride it) I'd get a recumbent of some sort. No idea what sort tho.

I've had a few itches over the years which I've scratched and some of which I've sold on.
Currently my itch is for a Raleigh Twenty. Not sure why, just because, I suppose.

I really want a fixed. I have the frame for it (currently doing turbo duty for the near future), but I'll need to put a replacement on the turbo, so I need to get another frame repaired.

First problem is hiding the cost of replacing two chainstays (one snapped, one doesn't look happy after carrying me home for 5 miles), and the cost of converting it to fixed.

Second problem is hiding the bike from Mrs C, she's already unhappy with the number of bikes (3) and bike parts in the front room.

A bike for my daughter, if I could persuade her to ride one

She won't go near one, after falling off about 5 years ago (she's 16 next month)
I did try to get her to look at a Liv, at All Terrain Cycles, at Salts Mill a few weeks ago

Heck!, I even tried convincing her, that my new bike (arrived last week) was for her, when she starts College in September

I don't know, is the answer. I fancy a nicer roadbike, something lighter and sharper but I also wouldn't mind a more do it all cross type bike. It's a conundrum.

I'm not thinking of outrageously expensive stuff, just something that you can't begin to justify from a practical perspective.
