My friend worked at the warranty department for cannondale....he renamed them crackenfail....he had a break down because of the work load!!! Bit of a worry! So two good bikes, upgrade break pads! Wheel upgrades down the line (can't remember what's on them now) God it's difficult! Thank you for all advice!
Are either frames stronger or weaker than the others?
I had a cannondale supersix with ultegra di2 on for a little while,I found it a bit short and nervous, and the di2 got up my nose,The merida scultura I replaced it with was far more sure footed, and with lifetime frame guarantee.... Mind you I Part exchanged that as well!!Ah... That doesn't sound the most promising thing about the dale!!!
You don't hear warranty claims on giant as a rule, they offer good guarantees on alloy not sure about composite, giant build the most bikes in the world, just ahead of merida,so its tried and tested formula, cannondale has been pulled from pillar to post in the last few years, they liquidated in the usa a few years ago after a disastrous dabble in the motorcycle world, and the current UK distributer is a bit suspect,so yeah probably the giant is the better bet...just so common, guess there an enemy of there own success. So potentially the giant may be the safer option?
Cannondale is pretty mainstream it must be said!Thank you for the help! The cannondale just has that appeal because it's a little different, and giant is quite mainstream! But I don't want something that will last two seconds!
