Does the new one have mount points on the seat stays? ( bolt holes near the top in the bit of the frame that runs from the gears towards the saddle ), the old one did so it was easier to mount a rack .

From the top of my head; yes, yes it does. Plus the wheels are stronger too; I forgot the name of what they're called.

(It has two lighter metals in the wheel which makes it lighter and stronger.)
